For Sale is a Continental O470R motor from a Cessna 182. This motor was removed for an upgrade and is not a result of a prop strike. Motor has no damage, all log books will be included along with detailed write-up of current condition from the most recent A&P IA to inspect the motor. Motor and cylinders are compliant with all current Airworthiness Directives. Current condition: 1300 Time since Major Overhaul. 650 Time since Top Overhaul 4 Cylinders have low compressions, Boroscope revealed leaky exhaust valves on those cylinders. Recent Laboratory Oil analysis was consistent with findings of worn Exhaust Valves and Guides, no Camshaft/Crankshaft/Engine Block material present in oil analysis findings or in oil filter. Motor could receive a top overhaul and should provide hundreds of hours of quality service. Oil Pressure/Temps were always within normal limits while in service. Engine taken out of service from a working airplane at Annual Inspection in April 2017. Accessories: All accessories are recently overhauled and in excellent condition. 2 Bendix Magnetos, both with impulse couplings. Good condition ignition harness also included. Both Magnetos received their 500hr inspection and complete rebuild in July 2016, and have 60 hours of use since. Work was performed by Eagle Magneto in Daytona, FL. A Marvel Schebler MA-4-5 Carburetor. Overhauled July 2016 by Kelley Aerospace, has 60 hours of use since. Continental Starter - Approximately 300 Hrs Since Overhaul 3 years ago, works great.
