Description

1981 Aerostar 602P. N111CK Pressurized -4.3. Air conditioned – electric. “Known Icing” equipped. Heavy Duty Alternators. Empty weight 4520. Useful load 1480/1535. Gross wt 6000. 4-6 Seats. On board emergency Oxygen x 6. 185 Gallons Fuel Maximum. This is not your average Aerostar. This is one of only a few 602Ps’ that remains unmodified. Only two owners and pilots since new in 1981. First pilot, A&P maintained with help from Zane Pritts. Second pilot, myself, in on all work and annuals for 21 years. Same AP+IA for the last 18 years. N111CK is white-blue-red with stars & stripes on vertical tail. 300 watt Davore LoGo lights her tail. Paint by Aerostar World. Imron 1994. 8 of 10 Interior is original red velour with new carpet 6/2015. 7 of 10 Props painted, striped & balanced 6/2015. Insulation and Sound Proofing l-l/8” Sound X Insulation covers the inner belly skin and the outer forward pressure vessel from belly to windshield. Big improvement in comfort in flight levels. Warmer. Pilot and co-pilot seats vertically adjustable. I purchased aircraft in April of 1994. Still flying.

Engines / Mods / Prop

Lycoming I0-540 AA1A5 290 HP each Turbocharged. Complete O/H by Columbia Aircraft Engines of PA. in 2000. Currently under 1250 hours. TBO 1800. (I flew first engines to 2203 hrs and they were still running strong) All components & Turbos new or O/H at that time. Current compression 76 or better. Oil, a quart in 5-6 hrs. Currently running turbine ‘smooth’. Both have high output alternators by National Air Parts
