For Sale - Air Force Super Cub Special - $86,500 This 1952 Super Cub Special is one of only 242 “Specials” built for the Air Force for pilot training during the Korean War. aircraft was completely restored to its original military appearance in 2014. During the restoration, some modifications were made for safety, such as reinforced tubing, a “both” fuel valve (feeding from two 18-gallon tanks), disc brakes, 406 MHz GPS ELT, new Trig radio, Trig Mode S and ADS-B capable transponder, and 4-point harnesses.
